nana visitor in s1 of ds9 was like “I’m gonna have butchhair, I’m gonna stomp,I’m gonna cry,I’m gonna repress massive emotions but then allow them to shine through when I’m overwhelmed, I’m gonna act like I’m in a fucking harrowing post-war drama!” and she was right and it was good

(This is just an average episode, but I do like it - thanks to Nana Visitor. She’s a great actress. I remember how much this scene touched me when I first saw it. )
Bashir inquires about Kira’s love life (which is kinda cute, when you think of it. Because at this point, early season 6, actors Alexander Siddig and Nana Visitor just had a child together :) … )
- Mr. O'brien, what would it take to move the station to the mouth of the wormhole? - This isn’t a starship, Major. We’ve got 6 working thrusters to power us, and that’s it. a 160 mil kilometer trip would take two months. - It has to be there TOMORROW.
(Folks today is Purim, a holiday in which we dress up in costume or wear masks, so I thought that this amusing frame of the crew all dressed up is most fitting :) Happy Holiday!
