#male abuse victims

I really hate it that whenever a man is abused or disrespected, people are ALWAYS looking for excuses to justify why that was done to them or they start questioning his side of the story. “He could have cheated” “He probably hit her first” “She was probably stressed” “He probably did something to her” and this shit happens A LOT. People really don’t take male victims and men’s emotions seriously in general because society views men as disposable objects whose feelings and emotions don’t matter because they lack them anyways and everything that happens to them is their fault and it’s well-deserved. I’m so tired of seeing this toxic, sexist bullshit. It’s because of that mentality that a lot of men don’t come forward with their experiences about the abuse they endured because society won’t take them seriously and instead, they will get either mocked or shamed. I already expect someone to come into my notes saying “Well, it’s their fault ‍♀️”, which is gonna prove my point. Don’t claim you care about victims but dismiss and disrespect male victims
