To celebrate 20 years since Pumpkin Scissors first began serialisation, there will be a mini-exhibition at the Ikebukuro GraffArt shop’s event area featuring original artwork by mangaka, Iwanaga Ryoutarou, as well as an assortment of new merchandise. The event will run from June 14th until June 30th, 2022.
The merchandise range, which you can preorder online, includes the following items:
- Acrylic keyholders (featuring manga cover art - whole box set of 10 or individual keyholders bought at random)
- Can badges (featuring manga cover art - whole box set of 10 or individual badges bought at random)
- Arcylic stands (3 x based on manga cover art)
- Acrylic plate set (includes 2 “plates” based on Randel from a manga panel)
- A chara case (featuring the Pumpkin Scissorsemblem)
- A mug (featuring Randel in blue)
- A mobile accessories case (with b&w manga artwork of the SSIII team)
- 3-pack of replica genga manga pages (2 packs available)
Prices vary depending on the products, but all are fairly resonable and considering how rare it is for new Pumpkin Scissors swag to be released, I’m sure some people will be keen to get their hands on these – I know I am!

The cover of the upcoming 2nd Kabushiki Gaisha Magi Lumiere manga volume went live with chapter 23 on the MangaPlus app today. The trade paperback hits Japanese shelves on May 2nd 2022 for a retail price of 660 yen (incl. tax).
The series is being similtaneously published in English each week via MangaPlus as well, though there are no English language print volumes scheduled at this time.

Yay there’s now (tentative) details regarding the 2nd volume of sono.N’s SHWD manga in Japanese and English. If you’re a fan of about badass ladies killing horrific creatures and falling for other badass ladies, you should check out this series.
Anyway, here are the dates I’ve found in online stores, they are obviously subject to change but they give you an idea of when to expect the next book.
- Volume 2 hits Japanese shelves on August 18th 2022(Amazon JP).
- Volume 2 hits US shelves on January 17th 2023(Penguin Random House).
The first English language volume will be released in August of 2022 as well, please see my previous post for a few pre-order links. I encourage you to support the author of this work by pre-ordering the volumes if they interest you and you can afford it!
