Why would anyone want a mansion?

Like, think about it. If you’re living alone or with a small family, a mansion is too much space. You might think that sounds ridiculous but can you imagine all the cons of having a mansion? Energy costs, maintenance, cleaning, these all add up. Plus, with all that space, it’s difficult to move around. You have to expend so much energy just to get a chocolate bar from the fridge. Additionally, mansions come with gardens and a garden must be maintained. Like, that’s not a choice. You’re obligated to do that, otherwise your mansion will look like shit. There’s also the issue of how your peers would react, and most of them won’t be positive if you don’t take care of it. Your house is a reflection of your inner self. If it’s a mess, you’re a mess (which is also a good way to figure out who’s depressed). And remember what I said about empty space? It’s not gonna stay empty for long. Pests and rodents will scour into your home, eating your food and ruining your stuff. Now you’re ugly and miserable too. You’re a poor man with a house no one wants to buy. You’re constantly losing money.

Mansions suck.
