“Siempre pensé que no se podía estar del todo perdido si se conocía el propio corazón. Pero me temo que puedo perderme si no conozco el tuyo”

James Carstairs

“La vida es un libro, y hay mil páginas que aún no he leído. Las querría leer contigo, tantas como pueda, antes de morir”

Will Herondale

“Can I? Can I love you until I take my last breath? It’s not really a question, more like a challenge..”

Can I please??? Let me love you until death gathers my soul - eUë

when Lizzie said

“Only the deepest love will persuade me into matrimony, witch is why I will end up an old maid.”

I felt that.

Cambridge defends ‘woke’ trigger warning on Little House On The Prairie and Shakespeare classics

Reasons why I Haye Trigger warnings. Stop pandering.

When I publish my book someday it won’t have any trigger warnings. Books have been out there for hundreds of years without them. We didn’t need them then and we don’t need them now.

This roughly translates to: My Thoughts on the book: It is a story about love and friendship and a life-long dedication to the written word. I loved this book!

I made a slight mistake here - It should be ‘카펜터’ not '카펜터스’

4번 책: The Great Passage By Shion Miura (Translated into English By Juliet Winters Carpenter

와! 와! 와! 저는 이 책이 매우, 매우 훈훈하다고 생각했어요! ❤⭐

Wow! Wow! Wow! I thought this book was very, very heart-warming!

Oh this book was just too cute! It was so beautifully told and how the writer described the importance of language, words and dictionaries was simply incredible! Also the translation into English was so elegantly done, it didn’t sound awkward or unusual, it just flowed.

5/5 stars. OUTSTANDING! 100% MUST READ!

(As I am not 100% fluent in Korean there could be a few mistakes!)

2번 책: I believe in a thing called love By Maurene Goo

Here are a few pictures taken from today’s study journal. I read this book back in the beginning of March and really enjoyed it! If you are an avid K-Drama viewer and fan, then I think this book would be perfect for you!

이것은 책 너무 너무 따뜻한과 귀여웠어요! This book was so heart-warming and cute! ❤

The story is about a teenage girl who tries to win the heart of her crush by recreating famous trope scenes that are in K-Dramas! IT’S JUST TOO CUTE! Aggh!

(There are a few trigger warnings to watch out for in this book, so you might want to research the book before reading it, just to make sure that it’s a book that is right for you.)

Made a zine for the quarantine with a great group of humans for my women’s, gender and sexuality studies capstone. Feel free to read! Enjoy! Share with your friends! I know I enjoyed making it

It smells different here now. The air doesn’t smell sweet like pancakes and cinnamon instead everything smells like a fire that won’t stop. The other day I tried to make something for breakfast, and I was proud of myself because I’ve been skipping breakfast for so many weeks now. But the toast turned into ashes, and honey, they say oil and water shouldn’t be mixed together so why the hell were we together? I think we were two molecules that tried to be together until we noticed that one of us was broken. I don’t mean to sound irrational but I just want to ask you, do you think someone out there will salvage the air we once inhaled together?

-Alexa Evangelista, my head is underwater

How do you expect me to feel

when you put the entire

universe inside my heart?

And then one day you decided to

burn everything we nurtured?

The sun died and the clouds

weren’t even crying.

The flowers stood still,

and I cut off the thorns

on all of the roses you gave me

because what was the point of

trying to save them from the wild?

My chest felt like a love struck

battleground, and I was just sitting

next to the armor. Now everyone can

see that I’m not the same person

who once had the entire universe beating

inside the heart that once lived.

-Alexa Evangelista, the book I’ll never finish writing
