Words cast spells which is why mantras are so powerful as a meditative practice. Generally they are a statement in the present and read as a positive affirmation, meaning that you want to state what you wish to manifest and avoid words like don’t or can’t. It is the intention that manifests and not the voiding of the statement so statements like “I am love”, “ohm” or “abundance flows through me” feel more appropriate compared to mantras that start with I don’t want or I can’t. Mantras are amazing as a meditative practice or to help connect with the breath in stillness or during movement such as yoga ‍♀️
