blood-on-the-marble:

I’m really sad that the marble hornets fandom seems to forget about Brian and Tim’s relationship. People say Tim was friends with Alex and Jay, and yeah, sure, but he never had the kind of relationship he had with Brian with them. Tim and Jay were friends, but really only close in the last few episodes of the series, after a huge fight and lots of distrust. He didn’t even remember Jay until he watched the videos.

He remembered Brian, though.

Brian was his rock for a really long time, they were best friends, as close as could be. Brian is the reason Tim got cast in Marble Hornets in the first place. They stayed in touch after it ended and Tim was absolutely shattered after he found out that he’d killed Brian, and it makes me sad to see the fandom write off their friendship completely.

Brian was the most important thing to Tim, and he ended up hurting Brian severely. That’s not something you can come back from easily.

“Uh…Hi?” Alex blinked, “I sent you a message last night saying that I was coming over today..? To catch some footage of you doing things around your house for b-roll for Marble Hornets..?”

Brian stared at him for a few seconds, “Oh, shit, uh…Yeah, didn’t get your message, phone’s broken, remember?” He said. Oh, right. Alex had forgotten that Brian had accidentally shattered his phone when he clumsily jumped out of a tall tree - which sent his phone flying into a cement pathway.

“Oh.” Alex replied dumbly, “Should I come back another time then..?”
