The last spot is where I got my biggest beads. From a guy who’d seen me dancing outside the hotdog place (during that swag surf moment) who didn’t get a chance to give em to me earlier.
I was shunned later from a N.O. native for eating at Dat Dog, but I definitely hit up that gator dog. And it was delicious.
I went with the pink, but kept kept the titties covered most of the day. Meant to free them at sunset, but life comes at you fast.
Also, @tomboicarti is one of the cute things that happened to me during year 33. Slightly before, even. And my Enjibaby!! Hadn’t seen this lil mf for YEARS before this trip.
But, it’s 2 days before my birthday and every week in quarantine, I realize how much longer this is really going to last.
As some of you know, one of my year 33 gifts to myself was 3 pleasure trips. Mardi Gras was the 3rd. And it came super close to my 34th Bday, & just as we were seeing our first covid cases in the States. I didn’t realize it at the time, but it was my last window of opportunity to travel before my next year.
This was Day 2 starting around sunset when me and @enji16 finally got together after the parade.
- Free crawfish while befriending some locals. - I be sounding like I have an attitude when I don’t. Grateful people like me lol - I still had half my Verti Marte sandwich by then, so I didn’t even eat any crawfish. -We’d gathered some beads by then.
New Orleans Day 1. We spent most of the day on the road, settled our things at our temp homes, & went out for food.
At @vertimarte, I got a shrimp & oyster po boy & it was so good. Also big af. This is a 24hr spot that had to close after we got our food because of the traffic they were getting.
@goodfriendsbar was a cute accident. We were wandering, looking for any place to stop in for drinks after the hectic energy of the sandwich shop. We found the gays and a lot of the dance floor to ourselves!
