In addition to her phenomenally successful career as a pinup model, Margaret was successful in movies and TV. She was in the Beatles’ “A Hard Day’s Night” (1964) and “Goldfinger” (also 1964). In the latter she played Dink, Bond’s masseuse. Some of us remember particularly the playful slap on the butt Bond gave her in one all-too-brief scene. Others remember her more for her 1973 wardrobe malfunction in “Carry On Girls” (google “Margaret Nolan sneeze GIF”).

El director Edgar Wright ha comunicado en Twitter la partida de otro miembro de la familia Bond en 2020. Se trata de Margaret Nolan, recordada por los fans de 007 como Dink, la muchacha que masajea la espalda del Bond de Sean Connery en Goldfinger (1964), momento interrumpido una visita de Felix Leiter, interpretado en esa ocasión por Cec Linder.
La actriz y modelo británica también hizo las veces de la “chica dorada” que aparece en los títulos de crédito de la película, diseñados por Robert Brownjohn, en el cual se proyectan escenas de la historia. Imágenes de su cuerpo bañado en oro formaron parte de los afiches internacionales del film, aunque fue Shirley Eaton quien interpreta a la mujer que muere al ser pintada de dorado en Goldfinger, Jill Masterson.
