Duong Thuy Nguyen, who also goes by Maria, is a Vietnamese illustrator and recent Sheridan College graduate based near Toronto, Canada. Her highly chromatic and complex layered works, reminiscent of silkscreen prints, deal with various themes sublimed into surreal, lush, emotive compositions executed with beautiful line quality and full of dramatic color.
