You could be so absorbed in embroidery, spending nights and days doing it, but then moving on to colouring books on the next week. Learning a new language was something that you do frequently, even if you would forget the languages since you already thinking to do other things like learning a music instrument.
Steven found it amusing, and he would always be interested in whatever you are doing, trying his best to support you. Marc would be skeptical every time you tried something new, knowing that you would drop it in a few days, but he never said anything since your enthusiasm was too adorable in his eyes. Jake simply did not care, you could do anything you wanted as long as you were happy.
Then origami sparked your interest and you wanted to try it. It reminded you of your childhood, when you would spend hours folding the papers, a proud smile would be on your face every time you got them right. No one was really interested in your origami when you showed them before, but now you gotthree of them, who would swoon over everything you do.
When he asks you to stand next to him at his wedding as his best person, there isn’t a universe where you can say no. Funnily enough, it’s almost 5 years to the day that’s become the most dreaded of your life. The day you realized how deeply you felt for him. You woke to the feeling of Bucky’s hand cupping your face, thumb stroking your cheek.
“Come on, love,” he whispered, and though your eyes hadn’t yet opened, you could hear the smile on his face as he spoke. “We got a big day ahead of us.”
God, his morning voice might actually be the thing that killed you.
He kissed your forehead and you let out a small, content sigh, eyes slowly fluttering open.
Bucky was, in fact, smiling. Eyes looking at you as if you were everything good in the world.
The sun was just beginning to rise across the vast fields before you. Bucky had originally offered to drive you back to the hotel as the late evening transitioned to early morning, but you were so happy, so lost in this magical little bubble the two of you had created together, that you said you wanted to stay in the back of the truck and watch the sunrise.
So, here you were, safely secure in the arms of the man who made your chest ache and your head spin, your leather jacket from the night before replaced by one of his flannels he kept in the truck as backup. The air was a bit chilly this early in the morning, but you barely registered it thanks to the furnace that was Bucky’s body and the blanket wrapped around you.
His smile grew as he watched you wake up, and he leaned forward to give you a slow, chaste kiss.
“Morning, love,” he murmured into your lips while pulling away.

The team had solved cases in many small towns, but you were positive this one took the cake for the smallest. The police station was so small, the town closed the public library for the time being so the team would have somewhere to work, something that Reid was ecstatic about. Hotch had decided to bring Garcia with you to help with communication since the town was so rural and you had to use satellite phones.
The town was a big hunting community, given how rural it was and that was making it hard for the team to narrow down who the killer could be.
“He has crossed genders and race,” Morgan was saying from his spot at the table the team gathered at. “He has changed his method of killing. This guy is all over the place.”
“He’s disorganized,” Hotch stated from where he was standing by the board the police force had set up for you. His arms were crossed, and his brows furrowed as he thought.
