ooo good one! I always thought Matt in the books was an ass towards Rand once he found out Rand could channel, especially in the beginning. But this balcony conversation makes me hope that show!Matt with have more empathy. Or maybe he will just great Rand with a “Well a promise is a promise. Someone hand me my cursed knife so I can murder my best friend!”
It’s hard to say, but yeah since Rand was super protective over Mat it will hurt a lot if Mat rejects him for being able to channel
i really hope it won’t be that bad, especially because rand went to bat for him so much. (but on the other hand, the resulting character drama would be exquisite.)
