Medellin is the second-largest city in Colombia. It is located in the Aburrá Valley, a central region of the Andes Mountains in South America.
The city is just a great place to be, with a very rich culture. The Colombian people, specifically paisas (people from the Medellin region), are some of the most warm and gracious people that you will ever meet traveling around the world. They are some of the most open people I have ever met.

Museo El Castillo por Anabainon
El Museo El Castillo es un museo de la ciudad colombiana de Medellín, ofrece exposiciones permanentes de objetos enporcelana y cristal, vitrales, gobelinos, antigüedades, pinturas, esculturas, entre otros.
La edificación fue construida hacia 1930 por el arquitecto Nel Rodríguez en estilo gótico medieval semejante a los castillos delLoira en Francia, posee jardines de estilo francés, bibliotecas, salas de exhibición y de conciertos. Lo habitó José Tobón Uribe, quien había traído los planos, hasta 1943 cuando Diego Echavarría Misas, un importante industrial de la ciudad de Itaguí al sur de Medellín, lo compró como residencia para su familia.
En 1971 pasó a constituirse en Museo cuando la esposa de Diego Echavarría Misas; Doña Dita , decidió donarla con toda su decoración y accesorios después de la muerte de su esposo.
