Oh my heart. I woke up this morning and there was this priceless GIFT in my inbox. From my darling friend, @yunta0722 , who is so incredibly dear to me.
This is magic on so many levels. Because yes, it’s my three boys celebrating Hollycheer together, Pilot wearing his Hollycheer Fairy crown, and Welder in his endless series of Ugly Christmas Sweaters and footie pajamas….and Lucky looking….like he ALWAYS DOES because WHY WOULD HE CHANGE JUST BECAUSE IT’S A HOLIDAY?
But in his HAND is the Hollycheer gift he received from Section Leader, a ceramic dog he’ll name Green Pink after the color of its eyes and collar.
And lined up on his Kamidana are…..dog figurines from my own house altar. Bronze Dog, Caribou Dog, Guardian of Dreams, Russian Dog, the little Shiba and Bull Terrier family….these all exist in my real life.
And dancing beside them is a Ramswoman figurine–Lucky’s best spy and future wife, Sonarra.
And there is the little Japanese cat. At first, I thought this was a Maneki Neko, the lucky cat of Japan. But I’m wrong about that. I’m realizing this as I’m writing this entry.
