The other problem was that after the naps he was filled with nervous energy, the kind that unwantedly reminded him of a certain ghost from his past. Usually he had to get out of the house and drive far, far away. Once he drove up to the Vinewood sign in the middle of the night, sat on the hood of his car and looked over Los Santos. The lights and the size of city used to amaze him; all the possibilities he thought he and his family would have here used to charm him, make him look forward to a future of security and calmness.
He took out his earphones and nervously put on In The Air Tonight. God, he had been 16 when the song came out. Michael Townley, the trailer trash kid with a bright future ahead of him, had taken this song to his heart.
Now it barely resonated in the emptiness of Michael De Santa.

When I had to get masks for the mission in GTA V, I wanted them all to wear the skull mask but in different colors but there was only 2 in different colors. So I decided to give Michael and Franklin the skull mask and give Trevor the pig mask because I thought it fit him and thought it was funny. I didn’t except the cut scene to make it a thousand times funnier. Trevor sarcastically says “real professional” when he saw the masks but I like to think he was only responding to his mask. Also there was the scene where Michael and Franklin are in frame first wearing their mask and Trevor comes into frame after them wearing his pig mask and laughs. lmao
We know we’ve already had a GTA V photo in this project, but like we said before we love this game with all our weird little hearts and keep finding inspiration for photos from it. The simple image of this note from Amanda to Michael (along with the “I <3 Los Santos” magnet) was an image that stuck with us while playing since it was a turning point – something which there are a ton of in that game. And they’re all A+.
We need to play this game again. It’s been too long. ;)

Shit, maybe they would have even gotten married in this universe if he hadn’t cheated on her with the first guy who happened to glance his way at a club. That just proved that repressing a part of himself all through high school to fit in with the rest of the jocks didn’t do him any good.
Maybe he could have been happy with her.
“Sounds like a miserable universe to me,” she mused with a soft smile, looking into his eyes.
Michael sighed bitterly and turned to look at the roof. “I don’t know. It might not be too bad. At least I wouldn’t be alone. Might even be away from my dad instead of being stuck… right fucking here.“
"God, stop hating your life, Mike,” she tsked at him. “Just call the guy and get yourself laid so you won’t be this miserable.”

She tilted her head up and closed her eyes as she blew out the smoke. “Shut up, Michael, I deserve this.” She spoke out of the corner of her mouth, wasting no time to inhale the smoke again.
After the bomb he just dropped on her, he couldn’t help but agree. “Hey, I ain’t got the right to judge anyone for smoking,” he joked weakly and tore his gaze away when she opened her eyes.
“Exactly. Besides, I’m not making it a habit,” Amanda jabbed at him. Michael scoffed but hoped so; her taking up smoking again was not something he wanted on his conscience. Despite the urge, he decided not to light up another one, just in case, and just waited for her to talk.
Amanda finished the cigarette and threw the butt on the ground, a disappointed look on her face; he wasn’t sure if the reason was the cigarette or Michael himself.
