Good morning, you lucky people!
I’m in need of a little Midsomer Murders refresher. I’m looking for the episode that includes the garden contest for a village. The gentleman that wins every year is a surgeon and he has a bell on his house which is only rung at a certain tome. But the murderer rings it to announce the surgeons death. The murderer was from South Africa and killed with poisoned darts.
It’s driving me mad because I can’t think of the name of episode!

Lady Felicia Montague is my favorite character on Father Brown (well, formerly anyway) and I just discovered the actress Nancy Carroll was on Midsomer Murders as another favorite character and I didn’t recognize her.
She was on it twice and the second time was in The Great and the Good as Connie Bishop, the school teacher who kept hearing someone in her house.
She has the most beautiful red hair!!!

Midsomer Murders season 1-7 is just Tom Barnaby either making Gavin Troy uncomfortable or sending him to do jobs he knows Gavin absolutely hates and it’s the best part of the programme
Blood Will Out is probably one of the funniest Midsomer Murders episodes. Troy cutting an apple into ‘chips’, getting uppity that Barnaby will eat the Mars Bar he’s got stashed in the car while he’s away. It’s a riot.
DS Troy: All this talk of healthy diets and living longer, I mean what’s the point? Who wants to live to be 89?
Inspector Barnaby: Someone who’s 88.
