Shout out to Mikagura School Suite for having a character who’s the “funny but secretly depressed” trope and when he admitted it all his friends were like “duh? literally knew that already, we were just being considerate and not mentioning it.” Because they’re his friends and can actually pick up on his behaviour because they’re friends?? Such a refreshing take on the archetype and makes me feel some type of way.
