• • • the solid red light of the camera has been a familiar one for years, but it feels strange coming back to it after so long. sana takes a deep breath, her eyes closed, and when she opens them it’s with a smile – carefully polished by the sharpest, fiercest coaches of korea. in the final cut of the video, it begins here. “hello, i’m minatozaki sana. i debuted with k.arma, but had to leave for personal reasons. but i miss the stage and my fans, and can’t wait to get back out there! did you miss me?” she poses for a moment, sticking her index finger and thumb out and holding them under her chin, before breaking it with a giggle that’s only partially forced. “please keep an eye out for my return to the stage!”

• • •my name is minatozaki sana. { ; she bows and smiles sweetly at the camera, raising both hands to wave them } i have a youtube channel where i do a lot of different things, but mostly i’m known for makeup and cosplay tutorials. hmmm…. { ; she hums, tilting her head to the side slightly as she thinks before straightening up and continuing as an idea comes to her } oh! i graduated from sopa last year, with a major in vocal performance. i like to sing and dance, but there are a lot of things i like to do just as much. { ; she shrugs casually, counting off on her fingers as she lists her interests } i like video games, and makeup, and cosplay, and regular fashion, and idols – there’s a lot of things i really enjoy, and i’m just trying to explore them all while i can!
