• • • “huh?” the brunette raised her brows in surprise. she zoned out and missed the explanation the interviewer gave before giving the cue that they’re rolling. her gaze flickered from the man behind the camera and the tiny blinking red light. it’s not unusual for her to blank during essential events as a solid ten seconds passed before realization smacked her. “oh.” she breathed a chuckle, a captivating smirk. “you asked for an introduction, didn’t you? i’m yoo jeongyeon, twenty-four, a senior student at kaist.” she playfully saluted with a wink. “nice to meet you.”

• • • “my ambitions?” she repeated while leaning forward in her seat until a sigh deflated her back. “that’s a big question. i don’t know if i have an answer to that.” it was an honest statement. for the first time since the interview began, her gaze shifted from the camera, landing on the wall to her right, displaying her jawline. when asked this question as a child, her answer was a super cool hacker that was apart of a spy group. later, it became the first person to build a shrinking device. it was somewhat unrealistic dreams. her love for technology is undeniable, and she doesn’t regret spending almost four years studying it. still, something is missing. “i think…” she looked back with an incomprehensible expression. “there’s a message i want to deliver to the world.”
