This comic has a lot of my favorite things: monsters! mystery! blood! weird trees! a setting so well-depicted it’s almost its own character! childhood flashbacks! quirky hobbies! queer & trans characters! family secrets! author playlists for maximum immersive experience! also it’s just really beautifully illustrated!
