wooo after a lot of trial and error, i finished my recolor method for the momo palette ! i’m not sure yet if i just want to use momo colors from now on, or to use just a couple palettes along with it… it’s a lot of work to do all these. idk we’ll see !! hope u guyz like :3c

This gist of it is, I recolored every single EA Hair, Eyebrow and Beard from Base game all the way through to Tiny Living. All ages, both genders. I even added some overlays for some of the hairs. You can see my alien using a Mohawk Overlay.
As of Today, Feb 16, 2020 it is up to date! Please do let me know if anything is broken or weird.
UPDATED! 7/30/2021
Now Includes everything up to / and Cottage Living.
No extra overlays for ombres/streaks this time, sorry I don’t use those.
These are not color slider compatible. I only did this to get my own game caught up and I don’t use that. If you want to make them compatible then feel free.
Only available on mediafire due to size issues. I don’t want to upload 6 parts because sfs has a less than 300mb limit on uploads. Basegame files are separated by age (and sex for adults) because s4studio only merges up to 2gb and it made the most sense.
Uh.. there’s also some cc recolors if anyone other than me even uses this palette.

Alright, you asked, here it is.
The Photoshop actions include all 178 colors you see above. I also included a psd file with an example texture for recoloring with these actions.
The following explains how I personally recolor hair textures. If you have your own way, that’s totally fine.
Import the white hair texture file of the EA palette. Set the saturation to 0% via the “Image” menu in the top bar in Photoshop. If you use my psd recolor file, change the settings in the “Brightness/Contrast“ layer to your liking - I always keep it between 35% and 50%, depending on how bright the basic white texture already is. Last step is to simply use my actions on the hair texture layer. That’s all.
A small tip in case you didn’t know: If you record your saving progress of your picture file in the single color actions, Photoshop will save it and the next time you run your actions again, it will save the picture on your computer automatically, where you saved it before. It is a pain in the ass to record every single saving progress the first time, but if you recolor hairs regularly it will be worth it in the end and saves a lot of time. I didn’t include the saving progress in my Photoshop actions, because I have no clue how it would work on other computers.
