I highly doubt that this show will end happily. We will see next week.

The long awaited episode! Back to two episodes a week before the show ends. This has been the drama I always look forward to every week and I am sad that it is ending - please finish strong!

Can I say that Soo looks so pretty in this episode. We finally see who Chae Ryung (the servant girl) is working for - it seems that she has been reporting back to 9th Prince Won. She looked guilty when she served Moo during his short reign because she was the one who poisoned him with mercury. Based on tomorrow’s episode preview, she’s going to get severely beat as her punishment which will definitely affect Soo.

So now Wook is going to be supporting his sister to try to make her queen. He wasn’t allowed to have both the throne and love and he hates seeing So get both. So I guess he’s going to force him to choose one or the other and since he already has the throne, he’s going to ensure So won’t get Soo.

On another note, everybody who is on the throne goes crazy! First it was Moo but it had a lot to do with his illness and then the mercury poisoning. Yo was driven crazy by the hauntings of his past murders. And now, even So looks and acts crazy at certain times. I guess protecting the throne is harder than getting it after all, just as Wook had said.

This family tree is crazy and there’s so much that can happen that I am not sure that 20 episodes overall would be able to wrap everything up. However, tomorrow’s episode looks like its going to be good!

Well. I just finished the final episode… and I actually somewhat don’t hate it. In fact, I almost like it. Yes, I agree with all of y’all who thought that it’d be nice to have Soo and So to meet again in the 21st century. After all, you send her back to her time and she realizes that it wasn’t a dream! But the monologue with So promising that he’d find her even in a different time and era, well, that was strong enough for me because I know he will. 

They chose the perfect little girl to play Soo’s daughter because she is just adorable! That little scene where she bumps into So and we see that her mother did the exact same thing - I loved it. As for Jung, I felt so bad for him after Soo died and Baek Ah realizes that Jung loved her all along too.

That scene with Soo and all the paintings and how she broke down in tears because in the end, she left So all alone… that part just killed me. It was beautiful and it was so sad.

I think it would be nice to see who the other princes are in modern time and what they are doing mainly because I am curious (and c’mon to be honest, I just want the show to be longer). Sigh, I do feel a little bit robbed because of the ending but I don’t hate it.
