More like a ‘sketch’ as I would like to use later on. I was thinking about the first placental animal (Juramaia sinensis) in our tree of life (as far as we know) and how far our ancestral connection goes to this creature.

It is a humbling experience to paint with the knowledge that through her survival long ago, we have come into existence ☺️
