Shark is the middle child, and he just wants everybody to be happy in the family. He can’t stand arguments and tries to balance everybody’s feelings to keep the mood positive. I think it’s because he comes from a very bloody past – being a shark – and has seen so many awful things that this family represents everything he wants: a quiet, safe zone. He loves all of them, and he wants everyone to love one another. That’s his goal for the family. He is just a big guy trying to move around in a world not designed for his size.
