In today’s episode of our Museum Secrets podcast, join Curator Matthew Winterbottom as he explores ancient beliefs about disease testing and vaccines, through our collection of toadstone rings.

I am happy to announce that the Sweatlodge Changing Room at the Indian Community School of Milwaukee is part of a new exhibition at The Museum of Design Atlanta (MODA)!

The exhibit, Full Circle: Design Without End, explores design projects that strengthen and replenish ecosystems and help humans connect to nature. The Sweatlodge Changing Room was included because its design takes into account how the building impacts every aspect of our natural environment, following ideas of Indigenous relationality.

The exhibit is on view at @modatl until September 25, 2022. Stop by and see it if you’re in Atlanta — or participate in exhibition-related virtual and IRL programming!
