#my fanfictions
I have not been the most assiduous writer lately, so I decided to set myself a challenge. A small one. For the next two months, from today until the 18th march, I am going to try and write every day, either on my computer, or at the very least, on my notebook. It doesn’t matter how many words, be it a sentence or a all chapter (I wish!). It’s not NaNoWriMo.
I read somewhere that it takes at least two months (66 days) to change or gain or lose an habit. Hopefully, it will also help with my sugar addiction. If I am writing, I can’t eat, right?
I have a few fanfictions pending, of course. Even if I removed them from AO3, I’m still working on them. At least, trying to. Plus, my last story for my Zoe x Dracula series. Plus, a new idea for a Dragatha ff.
I am pretty sure I could find some ideas for another chapter or two for my latest Zoe x Dracula (which I posted and notremoved).
And, of course, I already imagined a second season of sorts for my latest favourite show : the cook of Castamar.
I also have my own original stories. They have been waiting a long long time to be written.
So I have enough material to last me a lifetime probably. Or two.
Now, I just have to write them.
Hence the challenge…
If anyone wants to join, you are very welcome.
So far, I am at 131 words for Wednesday and 260 for tonight. Not my most impressive, but at least, I wrote. I actually opened a file and typed words. That made sense.
The 60 days have come and gone and my challenge is far from a resounding success. I wrote some (good?) ideas but I wasn’t able to finish one single chapter. I really don’t write in a linear fashion.
However, it is not the utter failure I seemed to think a few days ago because I realised I actually wrote, maybe not what I’d hope and certainly not what I’d expect but at least, I developed some of my plots.
