Another ref sheet, this time for Vanya! I’ve had her for a while and she’s always had stripes, but it just occurred to me recently to make them more natural, and to look at aardwolves for inspiration. So… an aardwolf-flavored collie, haha.
Fun fact: I took her name from a book I was reading while in 7th grade; the book took place in Siberia and the character in question was a bum. And apparently I thought, ah yes, a perfect name for my sparkledog lol.

Finally making some ref sheets for my characters, which is something I’ve been wanting to do for a while. Actually just… drawing them in general is something I’ve been wanting to do! I’ve done tons of crap sketches but nothing -nice- ya know?
Anyway, first up is Vixy, who is my baby and I love her <3 I first drew her way back when I was 11 years old, so she’s pretty special to me and has sorta functioned like a fursona, on and off. Fun fact: she was originally supposed to be a fox, but 11 year old me didn’t quite nail it! So… she wound up a cat.

Something I started working on ages ago, and just now decided to finish (story of my life, haha). This is Mina! One of my old middle school-era OC’s who I drew obsessively… and then somehow completely forgot about. She was inspired by a pair of pink, penguin-emblazoned socks I owned, and stuck around because I had a Happy Feet phase lol.

She’s a wealthy noble who left it all behind to become a rootin tootin shootin cowboy, despite never having seen a cow before. Or ever ridden a horse. Maybe this won’t turn out so well for Annabelle :’)
