Etain on Mandalore, before birth of Kad'ika.

Just a random idea that Vau knows how to cook and he is very good at that (in case of more complicated things, good instruction is all he really needs ). And because he likes Etains, he doesn’t mind make a cake for her, when she needs something sweet or other specific food. I think he was a good company for her, when others were busy with “important stuffs”.

And because Skirata always thinks first about his boys, it must be funny/relief for Etain, when Vau keeps her needs above anyone else. And makes fun of Skirata

[Btw, tihaar is a very strong alcohol made from varos fruits. I just assume (for the needs of comics at least) that those fruits are not good for pregnant woman]

For some reason, I really strongly associate Glorfindel with the archangel Gabriel.  Like, I just saw some pictures of angels and when I saw the one of Gabriel, I forgot for a moment that they weren’t the same person.  I guess some of it has to do with the G name, and reborn Glorfindel is supposed to be nearly angelic (the Maia are treated as angels), but this is still super weird.  Anyone else have something like this going on?

“The angel Gabriel from heaven came / His wings as drifted snow, his eyes as flame”

I think it’s a very natural association to make. Glorfindel shines with white light and the Nazgul flee from him, and Tolkien did make the comparison explicit: “We can thus understand why he [Glorfindel] seems so powerful a figure and almost ‘angelic’. For he had returned to the primitive innocence of the First-born, and had then lived among those Elves who had never rebelled, and in the companionship of the Maiar for ages “ (Last Writings, Peoples of Middle Earth, HoME Vol. 12)

I have to say, though, that I didn’t think about Glorfindel being like Gabriel. Archangels, yes, but of them all I see him as more Michael (“who is like God”), because both are warriors vanquishing darkness. Here’s Guido Reni’s Michael (1636):

And here’s Glorfindel:
