Raeidiri properly has one of the hardest designs to draw due to the details on her dress :’D

I let myself look up some Romanian clothing though to get some inspiration for her dress and how to do possible patterns (Though it seems like there is hundreds of ways to do it)

Ah, but finishing a drawing of her is very satisfying because she is the female rolemodel for Thaditiel. Thaditiel in book refer to her as auntie despite her being the girlfriend of the person Thaditiel calls Pa.

She is a determined woman in an area of the world there doesn’t have many female Travellers. She works mostly as a helping hand on farms or as a babysitter and travels around with Rewynna, now when Thaditiel has begun their own journey.

Yo, so properly a major spoiler from TOAT is the fact there is a secret child between Thaditiel and Rusieoetta who are never mentioned by neither Thaditiel or Rusieoetta in their respective stories. In fact the one to discover the child is Nano, Thaditiel’s twin.

The child is an official heir to the throne and the only legal one. Rules in story goes that the royals can only marry other royal blood OR the child of a counselor. Thaditiel is the child of a counselor and therefor would a child between Thaditiel and Rusieoetta count as a legal heir.

But their child were never that fortunate. Thaditiel gave them to the nearest priest house, letting them practically grow up without any parents and the child grew up in poverty. It wasn’t the first time Thaditiel gave up a child but it was the last time.
