Hot take: Affogato and Pomegranate are both comparable but they are not the same character.
I like Affogato because he’s a manipulative little shit who’s motivated by what he wants and is determined to see his ambitions through to the end.
I don’t like Pomegranate because she’s a manipulative little shit who’s motivated by her simp crush on Dark Enchantress Cookie and nothing else.
Pomegranate saw her fate serving Dark Enchantress in a mirror and decided to go along with it.
Affogato took fate by the fucking throat and threw it into his shopping cart to make some shitty arts and crafts later.
One decided to go along with her fate and the other decided to make fate his bitch.
They’re both aesthetically very pretty but please don’t make my preference for Affogato over Pomegranate about how Affogato is a male and Pomegranate is a female. I just like Affogato’s character more. He has more agency and independence and I adore him for that.
I’m just getting so tired of seeing posts about how the characters you like more is about some sort of latent bias towards their gender.
I made a cookie run oc lol. This idea has been floating in my head for a while and i wanted to get it off my chest. I will probably draw him again, and maybe more cookies
His name is Mazagran cookie, and he is a former member of the coffee tribe in the dark cacao kingdom. Mazagran is a coffee drink with rum, espresso, and usually served with a lemon or mint on top.
Mazagran cookie knows coffee magic and uses it with his lemon zest spear to strike his enemies. His flames are hotter than espresso cookie’s, since he uses rum too.
He left the dark cacao kingdom as when the citadel gates closed, there were barely any watchers to fend of the snow monsters. He left to adventure and a lot of the coffee tribe was going to leave anyway, due to the harsh environments.
I also wanted to draw him in a ponytail with caramel arrow, but it spiraled into drawing all the dark cacaoians in a pony tail so.
