CRUISING THROUGH MIAMI

Miami is one of the great American cities. It’s a vacation destination for beach lovers, and home to a thriving Cuban-American population. Sadly, it was recently flooded by Hurricane Irma, and now may be affected by Hurricane Maria as well. In this photo essay, Neil Watson shares a few of the facets of the jewel that is Miami.

Like most beach towns, Miami has a pretty informal dress code.

Elaborate dress is still celebrated sometimes though.

All roads lead to sand.

Dinner is always one lucky cast away.

Or you could eat here (it’s a restaurant).

Protected by linens and leaves.

On your crowded drive out of town at the end of the weekend, there are still a few palm trees to wave goodbye.

A WALK THROUGH PHILADELPHIA

Philadelphia is known as the city of Rocky, the Liberty Bell, and Brotherly Love. In this photo essay, Neil Watson takes us through the less famous sites of the city.

You never know what’s around the corner.

Philly aphectations.

The daily grind.

Among its other important roles in United States history, Philadelphia hosted the 1787 convention that wrote the Constitution, which replaced the Articles of Confederation as the basis of United States government.

Some conventions still come to town.

Inner sanctum.

Outer santcum.

The beer window.

Divine.

Shapes.
