If Elsa had her way, she would’ve loved nothing more than to skip today over. Even if it started out normal enough - her usually early wakeup, the stacks of papers to get through, that was all easy - the mere thought of what was coming made her breath catch in her throat. She could hardly believe the state she was in. She hadn’t dreaded anything this much since…well, since her coronation. Could she freeze a whole kingdom twice over? No, not enough time had passed to build up that much energy. Not that that stopped her powers from being on edge all morning. She’d lost track of how many times she’d inadvertently frozen her quill or her papers or part of her desk.

Hans… She sighed in frustration, exasperation. She had thought maybe she could forget about him. Ship him back off to the Southern Isles, and his family would take care of the rest. Besides, there was so much to worry about here at home. How could something so obvious slip her mind? Of course they would want her to testify in court. Maybe that wouldn’t be an issue if it didn’t have to be in person. Being in the spotlight, all eyes on her - hiseyes directly across the room. And she didn’t have a clue what the rest of his family might be like. Friendly? Hostile? Heaven forbid, violent? Relations between the Southern Isles and Arendelle went smoothly in the past… Of course, that was only what she’d learned in her studies when she was young. Several years had gone by since her old, dusty study books were written. Even if recent events hadn’t changed things drastically, there was a lot she still didn’t know. The king and queen at least had the sense to conduct a fair trial, but still, it was in her nature to assume the worst.

Adding to that, this would be her first time on a ship…or first that she could remember, anyway. The memory of the ship on which her parents sailed away and never returned felt as if it happened just weeks ago, though three years had passed. What were the chances that a tragedy could repeat itself? Very likely, in her experience. The weather report sounded promising, but it had been wrong before.

But there was no avoiding it. After all, Anna was going as well, and even if Elsa didn’t have to stand in testimony, she would accompany her sister without question. After years of denying her any sort of support, she had to be there at a moment’s notice, for the little things and the big. Just in case Hans tried to…pull something. Certainly he wasn’t above seeking revenge. God help them both if she be left with no choice but to use her powers in thatway, but if worse came to worse, she was fully capable of defending herself. Anna, not so much. As the older sister, she had to be the stronger of the two, whatever that took. Show weakness and she could easily be taken advantage of…

Her own thoughts startled her. Falling back into old habits. If she decided to expressed any of this out loud, she knew Anna would be giving her a mouthful. Perhaps it would be good to have somebody to talk to before they boarded the ship that afternoon. But on the other hand, the last thing she wanted to do was cause her sister stress… No, Anna could read her like a book. Saying nothing would only worry her more. Then that settled it. As soon as she finished signing these last few documents, off she’d go to find what the younger sister was up to. And then maybe she’d have her powers under wraps again. At least for the duration of the boat ride. Oh, how she’d hate to cause a scene in public…

Other: I’m in college, Wed is hella busy for me so I probably won’t be posting much on Wednesdays. English is also my second language but I’ve been in America for 10 years so I’m not too bad at it as I used to when I was in 2nd grade and knew like, 3 words in English
Pass: Keyblade (KH FTW, tho I still haven’t finished the first game orz)

2+ Paragraph: (set post HSM3 AU)

“Good job, everybody! Remember to practice the dance for the chorus, and I’ll see you all tomorrow.” Ryan said as he ran his hand through his dirty blond locks, reflecting upon the day’s work. Although he didn’t show it to his peers, he was really nervous. Being a dancer in a musical was easy. Being a choreographer was easy. Being a choreographer for his own talent show was easy. But being a choreographer and the main character for his own musical had more responsibility attached. Even the Club Talent Show was with people he was familiar with, and here, he was working with all different kinds of people: some from New York, others from California, and even some from foreign countries who wanted to be a part of this great show. The expectations were high, and he wasn’t about to let anyone down, not his cast nor his family.

The opening night, which was only three weeks away, was really important to him. It was probably the last show that his entire family would be able to get together. His parents were aging rapidly, and they had difficulties traveling to different places unlike their youthful selves in the past. His sister was a Broadway star and barely had time to get anywhere other than for a show.

He took a deep breath and sighed. Nodding his head, he gathered his belongings and put on his white jacket and headed out of the large dance workshop. He walked down the street, quietly prodding at his phone when suddenly, a teen ran up to him with excitement, asking for his autograph. He smiled and signed the case for one of his other production CD that she had brought, and wrote a little note.

“Anna,

Best wishes, and shoot for the stars!

–Ryan Evans”

He watched her run back to her mother, squealing in excitement, and smiled.

“I’m making a difference in the world.”

Name:Brittany

Character: Alice Liddell (from the 1951 movie)

Timezone:PST

RP Experience:Well, considering I was Merida in the group for three years, I sure hope I have some experience! In general, I’ve been roleplaying for 6 years now, nearly 4 of which have been on Tumblr.

Anything Else? Uhhh well, nothing noteable; I work two jobs and go to school but I should be able to work around that fine in compliance to the rules.

Password:Keyblade!

Sample:

The morning air was a little cooler than Alice would have liked, even with her extra layers. Dinah didn’t seem to pleased by the weather either, judging by the fact that Alice couldn’t coax the kitten from the warmth of the drawing room fire place. Unfortunately for Dinah, Alice had the upper hand- quite literally. Perhaps holding the unwilling kitten beneath her cloak had produced a few scratches, but rest assured that Alice was scolding her appropriately.

“Ouch- Dinah, will you please refrain from such! You are a lady, you know! You ought to act like one.”

The kitten calmed her claws (whether or not it was because of Alice’s scolding was debatable), and the remaining walk to the Liddell’s garden went quietly. Settling herself on the ground in front of one of the rose bushes, the child gave a quiet hum as her hand swept across the kitten’s fur.

“I went to Wonderland again last night, Dinah. I believe my visits there are becoming somewhat of a regular occurrence. I’m even getting used to the Hatter’s ‘clean cup’ bit! Perhaps next tea party I’ll actually be able to make a proper guest of myself….I wonder if he would invite the Queen,” she said suddenly, staring up that the bush.

“I haven’t encountered her again. And truthfully, I don’t believe I would like to. I rather like having my head attached to my body, thank you very much…”

Thank you guys so much for your consideration! I’ve missed this group a lot- I suppose it was inevitable that I’d come back!
