its just so… its not like i dont think ukraine is going through a horrible situation right now and i dont think all the solidarity with them is a bad thing or anything like that but its so sinister when you remember how little attention this would get if it was anything but a white country. where was palestine’s somber chorus on snl? where was syria’s moment of silence? why is israel still in eurovision? its just… its so transparent its not even funny.
That’s exactly what I’m saying! I get that Russia invading Ukraine can lead to a WWIII and that Nuclear is taken into consideration. But still, we need to show compassion and solidarity no matter who the oppressor is and who is being oppressed and no matter what is at stake. I stand with the people of Ukraine, but I also stand with any oppressed living being.
But what makes things worse is all the shameless comments I see and hear from white commentators and presenters that go along the lines of “The refugees now aren’t fleeing the Middle East or Afghanistan, they are civilized European white blue eyed middle class people”. This is shocking, disgusting, upsetting but really not surprising.
War in the Middle East / Asia / Africa are so normalized nowadays, that people hardly feel anything about them anymore. It’s really disgusting especially if you take into account that most of them (if not all of them) were funded, encouraged or caused by the west.
I compiled a list of tweets that show the double standards, the hypocrisy and the racism of the commentators and presenters I am talking about. In case you want to check for yourself,
Are all sock puppet accounts alledgely ran by these delusional ass cc creators cause they’re mad they’ve been caught and called out. Notice how their accounts are obsessively about mack, patreon, and cc? Please ignore them, block them, these people have no life and their pissed off we’re ruining their bag and taking their cc.❤️ Everytime this community gets somewhere, and we start standing up to these people, they come in and derail the conversation, sweep all their bullshit underneath the rug, and then we’re right back at where we started. Simmers: “Hey, some cc creators are doxxing and tracking you guys, you might want to be careful, heres all the evidence and proof”.
Some random ass sock puppet account that’s extremely butt hurt over over cc creators being called out for doxxing: “er…ugh…ummmm…b-b- but this person voted for Trump 2 years ago! What about that huh? That’s more important than the doxxing! Let’s all forget about it and focus on politics instead!”
Just wanted to give my opinions concerning wetransfer. This isn’t meant to be an attack on anyone particular but some things do puzzle me and has me wondering why it’s taken up popularity with some cc creators in the community. From what I’ve read the site itself is safe but there’s also some special features to it. And I think I may know why some cc creators are choosing it over other options of hosting. So this is what found about it so far based on my search:
Now I hope the screenshots aren’t to blurry. This is from a real business software and service review site. The reviewers seem to be business people or people who want to transfer over personal or business information and possible more. As you can see from the reviews, the special feature Wetranfer has is that they send notification/confirmation email that the reciever has downloaded the file. They get this notication pretty much immediately as one reviewer states. This is what the email looks like:
There’s also another lovely feature that Wetransfer provides. An expiration time/date.
So the question is, why are sims 4cc creators using a site such as wetransfer? Why is it so important for them to know when the file has been downloaded? Why choose a site that automatically deletes the download/link after 7 days? This seems like an unnecessary hassle for not just the patron but also the creator. Say my computer breaks down or all my files, for whatever reason, get completely wiped. At the time I didn’t make any backups of my previous content. I want to be able to go back to this link and redownload what I purchased right? Well I can’t do that if the link/tranfer is no longer working. That means I have to go back to the cc creator and ask for a fresh link. It would be better to just provide a link that doesn’t expire at any time. There’s loads of hosting services that keeps files up for quite a long time or until you delete them personally yourself.
As for large file, it’s simple. Just break them up into 2 or 3 different archives . Mediafire seems to handle large files just fine even in one zip.
This is why some of us tend to back up our files by either reuploading the content somewhere else or putting it on ubs stick…if we have one. I don’t know about you but I just host somewhere else online until or if i need it since i don’t have a ubs stick.
Do what you will with this information. Again, Wetransfer is a safe and legit site, however, it just doesn’t really make sense on why cc creators are using it. This is where the “sketchy” factor from other simmers have been coming from. Based on my experience you don’t need an account to download the file, but I am wondering do they still get a notification regardless? If anyone has information on that let me know.

While we would like to encourage forgiveness and compassion, we would advise Anto to make wiser choices about WHO he chooses as friends and collaborators in the future.

I only belive that he didn’t track anyone because as he said his content comes from 1 link that everyone downloads BUT he still knew the other were doxxing and got involved by checking the two emails and said and did nothing doxxing is a crime and by knowing a crime is happening and not stopping it you are complicit in the crime sorry anto but you fuck up by being friends with these people and staying silent as they broke the law.
I kinda feel like if he wants to make this right he should (if he still has access) share the full list with @littleblackbooksims and name ALL of the individuals involved. Maybe that’s just me but I feel he kinda needs to be like “Okay I chose poorly in who I hung with and now I will have nothing to do with them!”
Also, I’m gonna speak a little on his anxiety statement.
Like dude, I get anxiety. I have a fucking emotional support turtle. Okay? I have autism, anxiety, and depression. I get having mental health shit. I go to therapy. I have meds for panic attacks. The whole 9 yards.
And that is WITHOUT the sims shit. That’s without fearing I’m gonna lose my job due to people making hay out of the cowbuild shit. That’s without worrying that I’ll open up my tumblr to see ableist comments about my autism or rude comments about my appearence from sock puppets.
Like I get that this causes anxiety, but when you’ve been caught red-handed, that’s supposed to happen.
If you really are serious about turning over a new leaf and not harming people, start fucking naming names. Tell us all who is involved and state you will NEVER be involving yourself with them again.
Show the sims 4 community you are sorry and mean it. Because you are currently disregarding the anxiety of TONS of simmers who have had their personal info shared without their consent.
You can argue over the fucking semantics of doxxing all the fuck day long. But the truth is, all that is is a deflection to try to make your crimes of letting people do this and sitting on your hands less. Because you only apologized when you were caught. You never blew the whistle before this.

I tend to forgive easily. I’m glad Anto addressed the situation, however, like crazy-lazy-elder-sims said they still knew this was happening. Why was nothing said until all this was leaked out to the public? Is this a genuine apology or id this a “sorry cause I got caught” apology? Honestly I am torned and don’t know. Sure I’ll forgive them,, but trust them? Sadly I don’t think I can. Going forward I really hope they pull away from such people.

Looking at his instagram, this is starting to come off as damage control. He admitted it, its a list to track people and he checked it. Just cause it was 2 emails doesn’t change the fact he participated and knew very well what was going on. This being a year old doesn’t look for you cause it’s not that old. it’s only a year. That comment makes no sense cause tons of people actually don’t like the fact that companies are selling/sharing peoples personal information or data! Why do you think mark zuckerberg went through that whole trial with facebook? Cause of privacy issues!
Also he wants us to give them a heads up first.. Before we leak that their leaking/doxxing people info? Why would i give you heads up that I know you and others are doing something like this? So you can prepare and damage control? It’s real, people are coming forward and showing the evidence.
