Hi I’m genuinely concerned about Able Sisters shop in Animal Crossing

I haven’t bought anything from them in a while since my storage is full at my home. Since no other villagers shop there, they’re not making any income. Additionally, Sable is seen making clothing everyday. Assuming that they don’t just have a stock of fabrics in the back of the shop, they are actively spending money to make more clothing.

Knowing the dirty capitalist that is Tom Nook, he must charge them rent or some sort of fee for having their shop on the island.

Are they doing okay? How much is Tom Nook charging them for rent? Are my previous purchases keeping them afloat?? How long will my previous purchases tie them over until they go broke and have to leave the island???
