Thank you for your feedback, Anon. When making gifs I try to choose a mediated pace for varied readers, but it is a tricky balance to find with much guesswork on my part, so I appreciate your input. I will take pacing and length into further consideration if I continue to create gifs. Likely, future storyboards will be presented in video form due to length and quality, however.
A note to followers: As the storytelling of each project takes various forms, I would very much like to encourage followers to leave feedback so that I may continue to improve the viewing experience. ٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و*:・゚✧
Hi Anon!
From one OCD individual to another, my theme is ‘Monaco’ (`_´)ゞ
Thank you Anon! I am so glad you enjoy it. For the Miraculous storyboards I used the most current version Photoshop CC; this was for all aspects — sketching, painting, the addition of subtitles, and gif creation [using the Timeline feature]. Have a fantastic weekend!
Hi Anon — no problem!
Primarily I use Photoshop CC [current version]; for digital sketching, painting, storyboarding, layout, gif creation, and basic animation. The brushes I prefer can be downloaded here.
To edit video content, I use iMovie.
And if I need to create a rough 3D space or object, so that I may turn it around, I use Google SketchUp.
All the Best,
—Nox
To everyone who follows this blog, both new and those who have followed since the beginning, I hope this finds you well. In light of Tumblr’s recent policy changes, I too, will likely be leaving Tumblr and moving to a new site. I have not yet decided which site I will be relocating to, and will update when that has been determined. It is likely to be the same site that @ionahi moves to.
I have been fond of Tumblr for years, and will be sad to go, but I am optimistic for new and better things. Thank you for following my work, I hope to see you again after the move!
