Backers, check your emails–the NOT WITHOUT YOU digital edition is LIVE! You should have received an email from itch.io with a download key, sent to whatever email address is associated with your Kickstarter account.
But that’s not all.
The books are shipping now from the printer’s factory in South Korea. While we don’t have a guaranteed deliver-by date yet, they ARE on the way! I’ll send out a backer rewards survey tomorrow (I think I’ve inundated you all with enough emails today) so we can start collecting everyone’s mailing addresses.

GENERAL UPDATE:
As per my last email exchange with our printers (March 29), the book is still being manufactured at their factory in South Korea. We’ll post a more detailed update when we have confirmation that they’ve shipped from the factory! As of now I have no reason to believe the books will ship any later than our anticipated April delivery date but will keep you all apprised.
Also we’ve taken delivery of about 90% of the backer rewards. Main ones we’re waiting on still at this time are the 4x6 sticker sheets (all physical backers) and 2″ hard enamel pins (all physical backers; scheduled to arrive on April 17). I’ve been using the time waiting on the book shipment to start compiling rewards packages.
HARD PROOFS ARE HERE!
We received the first round of proofs from the printers and are reviewing them now! For more pictures and details, please visit the Kickstarter update.

Sorry for the lack of Contributor Spotlights this week–we’ve been busy finalizing the layout for the book! However, we wanted to share the artwork for the final two stickers from @tchallabreadand@jackbrogers, featuring Starbucks and Shrinkyclinks. Next week, we’ll post a look at the photostrip bookmark by @kurozawa46 that will be accompanying all physical rewards!

What are some of your favorite Stucky-related works that you’ve done?
[x] – I remember these headcanon/ficlets very fondly, because I had a lot more free time around that time, and for a few blissful weeks I managed to be quite productive and write a lot (or what qualifies as a lot for me, anyway. I’m a very slow writer). This one in particular was surprisingly easy to write, and I still like how it came out, which is a miracle in itself :P
[x]- I’m not sure this qualifies as ‘one of my works’, but when I saw that snapchat pic the idea just got away from me and I thought that a fic format wasn’t quite going to work as well, and to be honest I just had so much fun making it look like actual tweets and everything! Later I realized that probably not everyone uses as many tags as I do for everything, but people seemed to like it anyway, so… :D
[x]- I wrote this one as something entirely self-indulgent, because this image of Steve in the drivesuit popped into my brain and I just thought YES, and the idea of Bucky saying that line the first time they meet made me laugh. I almost didn’t post it because I didn’t think there’d be any interest, didn’t really expect anyone to like it… I was pleasantly surprised.
What do you most love about Stucky/the Stucky fandom?:
While I have other passions, and for some of them I had even read the occasional fic or two, I had never experienced anything like this. I was a Marvel fan, sure, but then The Winter Soldier came out and Steve and Bucky’s relationship just took a hold of me and wouldn’t let go.
I couldn’t seem to get enough of them so I got a tumblr and an AO3 account and started really experiencing fandom, and I don’t think my life’s ever been the same. This fandom was incredibly welcoming and kind to me right away, and so incredibly prolific and full of talent. I don’t think it would’ve captured me as successfully as it did if it hadn’t been for the sheer amount of fascinating meta and stunning fic and art.
There’s just so much talent and diversity and creativity that I can hardly remember what my life was before this fandom consumed my life, and I’ve met so many amazing people through it, some of whom are even some of my closest friends right now… it’s been truly a wonderful experience.
When was the moment that you shipped it?:
Like I said before I wasn’t really into the ‘fandom scene’ before TWS. Maybe if I had been I would’ve realized the way they were staring at each other during the pub scene, or how scared Bucky was of the possibility of Steve getting accepted into the army, or.
Alas, I wasn’t, so The Winter Soldier hit me right in the feels, full force. And it was beautiful.
Other fandoms/ships you love:
I’m not really into any other fandoms, but I’m a huge multishipper: I live for anything including Steve and/or Bucky x Happines, but most things Marvel are a win (especially anything with Sam and Thor and T’Challa because those 3 are the purest souls and my love for them is endless). I’m also weak for anything with other characters played by Chris or Sebastian, TJ Hammond in particular. <3
In any case, the way to my heart is through fanart, so if you give me a beautiful pic of whichever characters, I’ll probably board your ship and sail it with you to the end of days.

We passed the $70K mark last night and there’s still 12 hours left to back! We’ll be adding stickers from Jack B RogersandTchallabreadto the pool of vinyl die-cut stickers (artwork coming VERY soon), and we’re also thrilled to announce that we’re working with several podficcers to produce an audio track to accompany the stories in the anthology (available to ALL backers–digital-only too!). What are some of your favorite Stucky-related works that you’ve done?
My favourite of my own works is The Therapeutic Qualities of Tequila, which I wrote because I adore Sam Wilson and the idea of him and Bucky bonding over too many shots was just too tempting. But I also loved collaborating on parts of the Scrapsseries, as both a writer and artist. (They didn’t ask me to do art, I just got carried away.)
What do you most love about Stucky/the Stucky fandom?
Oh, too much to pick just one. There are some incredible talents in this fandom, as writers, artists and fans who write amazing meta. But I do really love the crowd of people who comment on and rec fics regularly – they’re the ones who really make the fandom feel like a community.
When was the moment that you shipped it?
I read enjambament’s Stucky ficbecause she is an irl friend and my fic guru, and was instantly lost.
Other fandoms/ships you love:
Marvel is my main fandom, and Stucky are my go-to pairing, but I like giving other ships a try if they’re well thought-out. Charles Xavier/Eric Lensherr is p. good, though I’m not so into them that I know their ship name (do they have a ship name? they must do, right?). I have a soft spot for Clintasha and I adore Steggy. And I also ship Bucky Barnes and happiness.

Hi, guys! I know it’s been a while since I updated my AO3. Between two big acting projects, a broken arm, and a massive amount of community organizing, I’ve had a little too much on my plate lately.
I swear, I haven’t been idle, though! I was invited to participate in theNot Without You Anthology, which has been met with overwhelming support so far. I really hope that support continues. This has been an incredible experience, to say the very least. I’m not entirely sure I even deserve a place among the kind of talent they rounded up, but I’m happy to contribute what I can.
I Can See the Sun is a sequel to I Know Why (and So Do You)which picks up directly after Steve and Bucky’s mission in Saint Veran ends, and follows the Commandos’ trek through the Alps back to neutral Switzerland. Set against the tense backdrop of France in December of ‘44, the Germans are massing for what will later be known as the Battle of the Bulge, while Italian Partisan fighters and French Maquis are running Hydra and the Nationalists off their land in droves. Allied victory remains a terrifying uncertainty. Even as the Commandos undertake their long journey through enemy territory, two forbidden romances unfold amidst avalanches in the mountains, shoot-outs in Beaumont, and fistfights on Christmas Eve. Not even the serum could have prepared Steve for the finer points of love and war.
