Also…how did the Inquisitors not drag Luke fucking Skywalker to Darth Vader who they know is Anakin SKYWALKER???! Like he’s a kid with 2 non fighters as guardians and Obi-Wan has stopped Jedi-ing and is hilariously rusty so there’s nothing really stopping them from grabbing Luke.
I hope they answer that in this series. I really really do.
Well, canonically I think only Palpatine knows Darth Vader is Anakin Skywalker…Unless they’ve retconned that….I haven’t watched the Obiwan episodes yet so idk.

Okay so I’ve been thinking.
The clone veteran that appears in the second Obiwan episode was from the 501st apparently.
What if…I’m just putting this out there….
What if he recognizes Obiwan. He might not know him personally, but what if he’s like
“Hey, that guy looks really familiar….like the Jedi who used to fight alongside General Skywalker….could it be??”
He gave a nod, which could’ve simply been in thanks, but there was something there that could’ve almost been recognition. Almost like when you get the feeling you’ve seen someone before, but you don’t remember where or what their name is.
I get the impression that Order 66 was a one-time thing. It was pretty much over and done once Yoda and Obiwan got to the Temple. So at this point in time, when Obiwan sees the clone veteran, the protocol has been inactive for 10 years. I do think it kind of “reset” memories held by clone troopers, but I think it’s possible for strong memories to remain intact in the subconscious.
Okay so they dropped the trailer for Season 2 of The Bad Batch, and apparently Cody is in it. Evidence was the facial scar.
But his armor looks grey/black, so perhaps a repaint? Because it’s hard for me to think he’s the only clone with a facial scar. But his scar is pretty distinct. And his armor has an antenna like his OG armor.
But then we have this shot here, which is him and Crosshair and Cody is in his OG armor. It looks like they’re aiming at Omega and some chick.
The antenna is on the same side for both armor sets, which could just be the placement area for the device. Again, it’s likely he’s not the only clone with an antenna attachment.
BUT!!
The gif could take place prior to the still shots, which could mean that between these scenes, Cody repaints his armor. But there is also no sign of him having had his chip removed in the still shots.
So idk. Personally, I hope we see him in the Obiwan series. There is potential for that since Tem did stuff for a clone veteran and there’s bts stuff of him in a bodysuit with a lady dressed as an Imperial Officer.
So I guess we’ll see.
