Wattane beach episode
I don’t know why, BUT; Caustic’s “I feel the most alive when rapidly aproaching my death” makes me think he enjoyed Speed in his youth, like Sport cars and that kind of stuff. And in that vein he is somewhat jealous of his fellow Legends like Pathfinder and Octane for their speed and movilty.
Pathfinder: *swinging his Hook* What’s up danger?
Octane: *injecting stim* Gotta go fast
Caustic: *rolls his eyes* Such foolish recklesness
Also Caustic:Why mama? Why wasn’t i born fast?
So i have this Headcanon that consists in: Caustic after seeing Octane’s capability to withstand constant Stim in his system decided to test Octavio’s limit by putting harmful chemicals in his foods and drinks (at first in secret, then more openly), to later be shocked by Octane just drinking them like it was nothing. Unkown to Nox, Octane realized this practice from the beginning but belives this is just a challenge or a bet that Caustic has impose on him.
Caustic:*To Crypto* I’m not Even trying anymore. I poured chlorine in Silva’s empty glass IN FRONT OF HIM and he just chug it like it was just water. What’s wrong with him?
Octane:*Talking to Lifeline* I tell you Ajay, el viejo is gonna lose so hard this bet, i can see his resolve crumble by the day.
