This one is a picture from the house I was offered for one dollar, I asked the universe to help me build a tiny house and in my dream home I imagine a loft with a net. This net is too old and too thin to support any human weight but I thought it was coincidental to have seen it. I didn’t end up buying the house but the materials are still mine for the taking. All the benefit, none of the responsibility. It would have been too expensive to own the property after the salvage and demolition of the current house, and trust me when I say demo is the only viable option for this old house. Almost no foundation left and about 20yrs of decay on top of that. I got some nice photos while I was exploring the place, and I was quite excited as this was only the third abandoned building I’ve ever seen inside of.

Five Gardens

Behold! Here are new trees, new leaves, new branches new flowers, new beautiful parrots sit on them. New bees humming and birds are singing their tunes. There a new peacocks, parrots, chakoras. New koel is going and producing new notes. Sawai Jaisaha Maharaj Mukatmani has his Jainivas Garden with perennial spring reining therein. There are many temples here… There are wells step wells in Gardens, the Mansagar is overflowing with the river is flowing swiftly. (from a poem by Girdhari- Bhojanasara, 1739)
Five Gardens emerges from studies of the several house plans. Material here is explored for both structure and details. The pavilion/house reveals its self to the surrounding landscape, flora and phone out in normal assemblies. The project intimately plays with economy of material, pleasure of craft and lightness of structure. While the pavilion seamlessly connects the outside with the inside, it leads itself to create personalised spaces within its self.

A magical experience for the final for Navras, performance by, The Rajasthan Roots Caravan (@rajasthanroots) , directed by Aditya Bhasin.
Exploring the rich cultural heritage of Rajasthan’s folklore the Rajasthan Roots Caravan is an audio visual extravaganza presenting a contemporary and explosive package of song, dance and instruments. The Caravan has picked up the finest folk talents through more than a decade of its travels, with everything from a drum circle of Nagaras, to firebreathers, percussive battles of the Khurtals (castanets) and Dhol (Giant Drum), to the Chari (fire pots) and Kalbeliya (snake) dances. The Morchang (jews harp) players create a psychedelic trance, and the Braj dancers swoon with their peacock dance and showers of love and flower petals.
All this and more, held together by the acclaimed folk fusion band - Rajasthan Roots, having enthralled audiences around the world for over a decade seamlessly mixing western instruments and beats with the traditional songs and sounds of Rajasthan. With their unique presentation of Rajasthan blues, Sufi Rock and popular folk, they create the new sounds of Rajasthan.
