more small town things to do with your f/o :)

  • library visits. imagine your f/o reading to you! maybe it’s one of your favorite books or something they just picked up randomly. your f/o narrates the book to you dramatically while you try to hold in your laughter. no matter where you are, your f/o just wants to make you smile.

  • drives around town. no destination needed. just you and your f/o. your mixtape is playing on the radio, wind blowing. one of your f/o’s hands hold the steering wheel while their free hand intertwines with yours.

  • camping! whether it be in your house, 2 feet from your house or far away, nothing is more fun than telling scary stories, singing songs, and snuggling up in a sleeping bag with your f/o. ⛺️

Getting to go on a stroll with your f/o, it’s a warm sunny day, you’re wearing your favorite outfit and your f/o can’t help but tell you how stunning you are. It was just a slip of the lips, but more compliments spill from their lips leaving you both a flustered mess.

You’re smiling so brightly, happy to be with them and your f/o can’t help but to think how your smile alone outshines the sun. How your laugher is more melodious then the birds high in the sky, your hand in theirs more welcoming than the cool breeze that shakes the trees. Your presence alone is more comforting than anything else to them.

Okay because I’m a simp for domestic stuff, here you go

Imagine singing and dancing with your F/O, what kind of music would it be? Are they good at dancing?

Imagine cooking dinner with your F/O, laughing and playfully messing with each each other, or maybe you just enjoy each other’s presence quietly.

Imagine watching a movie together while cuddling and wrapped up in a blanket, what kind of movie would you watch? Do they eat all the snacks? Would they hog the blanket?

Imagine doing your own things but still finding comfort in each other’s presence and simply enjoying it with the silence.

a scenario:

your f/o taking care of you with love and patience.

you got hurt, and they quickly volunteer to treat your wounds, with a care and love you haven’t received in ages that almost break your heart. when have you been so loved before?

“is there something else i can do for you?”

“yeah…maybe. but it might sound silly and childish. ” you ponder in a low tone, but not low enough for them to hear.

“what’s it?”

“just an…hug.”

your f/o blinks a few times before their gaze soften, and of course, they engulf you in the warmest hug. a nostalgic feeling, you think.

“but this is not a silly or childish question.”

“i thought it’d have sounded like that.”

“you haven’t received any form of affection in a while now, that’s why you wanted an hug. it’s not anything stupid.”

you’re lucky they’re so smart. a person who’s able to read you like this it’s indeed a gift from heaven.

still, you feel a weird sensation you can’t actually explain aching in your chest, but the grip around their torso tighten without your direct noticing.

“actually” you silently tell to yourself in the calm of your head “all I wanted was yourhug.”

bun-bun-selfships:

You know those nights you lay awake and wonder if your f/o actually cares for you? If you’re their type? If they’d ever find someone better?

Those same nights your f/o is daydreaming about all the things they wanna do with you, and putting themselves on cloud nine thinking about how much they just absolutely adore you

Imagine your F/O making a care-package for you.

They fill it with comfort foods they know you love, or snacks that you used to eat when you were a child. They might buy you a stuffed animal or two, or give you a teddy bear wearing a little outfit.

They also go out and buy hair/body products that smell like something you like.

If there’s enough space, they might even buy a couple pieces of merch (small figurine, t-shirt, charms, etc.) and stuff it in with everything else.

:

imagine you smell a great scent coming from the kitchen, you go after it and you find your f/o cooking dinner. “dear, are you busy? i’d appreciate some help” you accept, despite not being good at cooking, because you want to help them.

then again, you’re not that good at cooking, so your f/o needs to constantly check in on you. when it’s time to cut the vegetables, you’re not even sure how you’re supposed to hold them. your f/o, afraid you could hurt yourself, decide to help you. you feel their hands wrapped around yours as they guide you on how to cut them. you feel rather embarrased, but they assire you it’s okay to need help.

when it’s all done, you feel bad because you couldn’t do much, then they applause you. “i couldn’t have done it without your help! thank you, dear” and they give you a kiss on the cheek, their encouragement makes you feel better.

you two shared a dinner together. the food was very good, and it probably tasted even better sice you two made it together.
