#our flag means death
I just wanted to draw Ed receiving a tender smooch while getting railed
PSA for the Our Flag Means Death fandom (please reblog):
last night I got a heads up that a store on redbubble was selling some of my art on a shirt. I went to take a look, and also decided to do a search to see if any other stores came up. I would say almost everything that came up in the first page of search results was stolen art. PLEASE do not buy any OFMD merch off redbubble unless you are following a link directly from an artist. Chances are going to be high that you’re supporting a thief.
izzy hands was like ‘is anybody going to rip this guy’s shirt open to reveal his chest’ and then didn’t wait for an answer

the thing i like so much about cross-stitch for ed is that it is so stabilizing. you don’t have to make any decisions, you just follow a pattern, but you do have to focus on your counts so you can’t get too lost in your own thoughts. it’s meditative and calming, which ed seems like he could really use to help soothe some of that depression and anxiety, particularly as it’s related to adhd and the flitting, unpredictable brain space that crops up when we get bored. it is also incredibly good as a time suck–you think oh, i’ll do this for an hour, and then seven hours later you’re like ok or that too, sure, which is great when you’re stuck in a place for a long time (like aboard a ship) and you need something to keep the boredom at bay.
what i’m saying is, ed discovers cross stitch and suddenly he’s churning out little stitched signs that say FUCK OFF and COME BACK WITH A WARRANT and ED + STEDE 5 EVER and JUST MATELOTAGED with their little faces on it. stede reads to him as he stitches and then he hangs up every single one ed finishes with a smile and a kiss.
I love these gae pirates SM
wake up everyone, new Ed and Stede pic just dropped
i just love them so much
i will not be explaining myself
I’ve seen it mentioned that Stede managed to be incredibly smooth with that “You wear fine things well” line so it’ll be amazing when he’s trying to flirt intentionally.
I’ll raise you that it absolutely will not.
Mr. “I may be landed gentry, but I’m thrilled to be granted entry” and “talk it through, as a crew” is not going to be smooth at all. It’s going to be perpetually worse rhyming couplets all the way down.
And Ed is going to love them.
