I don’t know if someone has already said this. But imagine Ed going through his breakdown all alone in his pillowfort and suddenly he’s just like, “was it the beard?! it’s cause they cut off my fucking beard!! ”
Yeah but remember how the recurring theme of s1 is leaving everything behind and taking up new identities? :) I mean, stede is already officially dead. I’m expecting a grande fuckery for ed’s fake death after which they row away into the sunset lmao
OOO! I do like this idea!
Although, there’s still a part of me that will shield myself for heartbreak.
There’s no record of Stede Bonnet taking an “act of grace”, though Blackbeard did for a single year, maybe less. There’s also no record of Stede Bonnet ever seeing his wife, Mary, again after he left her for piracy. In fact, he would die just two years after he left her. Not only that, but they actually had four children together, the first one dying in infancy (some even blame this for his supposed mental breakdown and choice to run away).
They’ve already taken so many liberties with this show. I’m sure that they’re not going to shy away from taking more! Don’t be discouraged by pesky facts. The directors aren’t
Oop! I’m hoping they use their liberties to make Ed fake his death like Stede does.
But all I’m saying is I’m submitting myself to the Kraken if either of them actually die in the series.

That being said, I really loved this show! I watched all the episodes in one go, and I couldn’t stop imagining how these two would react to seeing each other once again (I really hope there’s a season 2 soon)
