Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe(Our Lady of Guadalupe) in Roman Catholicism was an apparition of the Virgin Mary on December 9, 1531. She appeared to a Mexican man named Juan Diego on his way to mass, asking that a shrine is built of her on that spot. When Diego told the clergy, the bishop demanded a sign. She appeared once again to Deigo and told him to collect roses. Deigo presented the roses to the bishop by opening up his cloak and letting them fall out, and on the inside of his cloak revealed the image of Mary.
She then became the patroness of New Spain as well as a symbol for the Mexican independence movement. Thousands of pilgrims from all over the world still come to see her image in The Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, which was built on the spot where she supposedly appeared.

Tomorrow begins a 9-day process of prayer, ritual, and offering thanks called a novena. We sit in service, make offerings, and ask for Guadalupe to give strength and compassion. We bless seeds for the coming year and charge the petition candles over these 9 days. On the 9th and final day of the novena, which will be her feast day (Dec 12th) we’ll light a candle for each participant in the ritual, read their petition, make offerings in their honor, and help some people out.

You do not have to know anything about Guadalupe. We are not Christians, you don’t have to be either.

No petition is guaranteed. Coming with honest intent, an open heart and a genuine need for help will always guarantee a response from Guadalupe.

Catholicism is used as a spiritual skeleton (somewhat) for me but as I’ve developed my craft it’s grown so much more and is far past religion. I truly follow Guadalupe for Guadalupe and view her as a multi-faceted divine being. Not just white-God’s baby maker and I am not into terf divine feminine shit either so miss me, unsubscribe, and die angry if you can for wombyan Spirituality sorry.

Guadalupe, to me, is the seasons of growth and decay she’s the embodiment of our Earth; the corn, the trees, and all the land are under her influence. Because of her power, she can grant any request, however, Guadalupe will only grant you the opportunity that serves your highest good. Basically, once you give her permission, she flips your life upside down and rebuilds you. Her presence is perfumed with roses and feels like being purified by fire.

Anyway, I’m done rambling/feel exposed talking about spiritual things. If you need help, you need good luck, you want to grow, need a miracle, looking for love, looking for work, needing money, lost and needing guidance, or in need of protection, compassion, and love join the service and Madre Guadalupe will hook you up.

Gospel LK 1:26-38
The angel Gabriel was sent from God
to a town of Galilee called Nazareth,
to a virgin betrothed to a man named Joseph,
of the house of David,
and the virgin’s name was Mary.
And coming to her, he said,
“Hail, full of grace! The Lord is with you.”
But she was greatly troubled at what was said
and pondered what sort of greeting this might be.
Then the angel said to her,
“Do not be afraid, Mary,
for you have found favor with God.
Behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son,
and you shall name him Jesus.
He will be great and will be called Son of the Most High,
and the Lord God will give him the throne of David his father,
and he will rule over the house of Jacob forever,
and of his Kingdom there will be no end.”
But Mary said to the angel,
“How can this be,
since I have no relations with a man?”
And the angel said to her in reply,
“The Holy Spirit will come upon you,
and the power of the Most High will overshadow you.
Therefore the child to be born
will be called holy, the Son of God.
And behold, Elizabeth, your relative,
has also conceived a son in her old age,
and this is the sixth month for her who was called barren;
for nothing will be impossible for God.”
Mary said, “Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord.
May it be done to me according to your word.”

and greeted Elizabeth.
