So after a long time in the shadow of other obsessions, I’ve finally gotten around to drawing my Nomad V again!

My Nomad V is, as I like to call her, a disaster Lesbian. Kind of a gremlin, can and will tear apart any stuffy formal clothes you try and put her in. This jacket is one she considers one of her fanciest; in that it isn’t stained to hell with dirt and motor oil.

She’s an extremely skilled Sniper/crafter/mechanic, made doubly impressive by her distinct lack of cybernetics. She’s kind of like Claire; loves machines, loves working on them, but doesn’t want to become one.

This V loves rock and punk music, though she won’t say no to a bit of Johnny Cash. Many of the bands she likes are my own favourites, who would be very much considered retro by 2077, but she loves anyway.

Her bracelets are just random ones she’s collected over the years; the wooden one is one that was crafted by someone very dear to her. The rainbow sparkly one was made by a younger member of the clan who looked up to V, and the pearlescent one is one V came across while on a supply run with the clan.

As for the bandana around their wrist? This V has a collection of those, and they are used to keep their hair away from their face when it isn’t styled/they’re working on machines/engines. Sometimes worn tied round the belt or wrist as a fashion accessory.

Here’s the process for this piece:

This was supposed to be simple, but as usual I couldn’t help myself. Didn’t pay too much attention to the lighting because, as I said, this was supposed to be simple. I’m still really happy with how this turned out. Especially the little Depeche Mode references.

And I love her freckles so much. She kinda has fainter ones all over her body, but the most distinct are what you can see crossing her face. Also…I really like her eyes; I feel like they shine really well here.

Here’s the colouring timelapse (warning for flashes of colour):

You can get an idea of how long this piece took. The lines took about 2 and a half hours, with the colouring taking an additional 5 and a half; putting the total time spent on this up to 8 hours. Feel like it was worth the effort- I love how the textures turned out, and how bright her hair and eyes look.

Detail closeups coming in their own separate post!!!

Very proud of this Corpo/Assassin V art I just finished, I actually love it???

Original is the one coloured in normally, second is edited to be black and white like the reference image I used, and the other is just because I thought it looked neat.

You can see it isn’t as detailed as some of my other projects. But I still love it; sometimes less is more. And I believe that is the case here. I tried to have it reflect the reference, being stylish and sleek; with my V having this kind of air of superiority.

Their eyes look so creepy, and their expression seems quite calm, but if you look closer, you can see small signs of the anger underneath it all.

Here’s the colouring timelapse (warning for flashes of colour):

Whilst this hasn’t taken nearly as long as the other projects I am working on, I am no less proud of this piece. I feel like my V looks super cool, and it has the vibe I am going for with them and their story.

It’s been a while since I posted here. Guess I’ll start with my sticksona, those who followed me cause of my Hazbin Comic, I won’t be continuing it cause I lost all motivation to finish it. Changed the design of my sona a little from the first drawing and the ref. The ref is the official design.

I think I’ll be doing more of cell shading then soft shading for these pages since it’s faster for me to make these pages that way, also sorry pages take so long to post, procrastination be damned.
