“hi,” you smile sympathetically, softly shutting the door behind you. jungwon immediately moves at the sound of your voice, turning around to face you.
“hi,” he manages to get out and you cringe at the sound of his hoarse voice.
“how do you feel?”
when you walk towards him, he makes a noise of protest. you raise an eyebrow and he cutely shakes his head underneath the covers.
“-don’t want you to catch anything.”
you let out a half amused and half indignant huff while placing your hands on your hips with a deadpan stare, “does it look like i care?”
jungwon stays silent and you soften, reaching over to brush a stray piece of hair off his forehead.
“you should get some more rest.”
“i have been, for like the whole day already.”
you sigh, unable to hide a smile. even when jungwon was sick, he was still the same jungwon. at least the matching growing smile on his face gave you some comfort.
you reach for his hand, “do you need anything else?”
“no,” he shakes his head again as his grip tightens around yours, “just you. all i need is you with me.”
