oof, sorry for being so inactive here. Been working really hard on an animated music video for the Morning Sun single on Chise’s album DRMST8! This is the album cover which features Patches, the main character! I’ve been in collaboration with Chise since December, and it’s exciting to see everything come together! While waiting you can take a listen to Morning Sun now on all platforms including Spotify!
Hopefully the vid will be done in April! I’ll be posting behind the scenes on instagram (yeng_ma) weekly until the video’s release! (will also try to update on tumblr more often as well!)

PANDORA’S BOX: This chest is filled with secrets, creepy crawlies, magical talismans, baubles, spells, spirits, poisons, potions, amulets, demons, dark and deadly items.
THE TOMB: This chest is filled with treasures, artifacts, maps, codes, ancient relics, weapons, items for the afterlife, lore, and relics from days gone by.
About once a year, Light Grey hosts a themed call for artists where each artist makes an edition of a work. Once at the gallery, we distribute one of each artist’s work into amazing packages containing ONE OF EACH OF THE ARTWORKS IN THE ENTIRE COLLECTION. Every participant gets the whole stash and gets to open a magical box full of mysterious goodies at home!!

The Bard’s Curse
The following is the curse engraved on William Shakespeare’s tomb:
“Good friend for Jesus sake forbeare,
To dig the dust enclosed here.
Blessed be the man that spares these stones,
And cursed be he that moves my bones.”
This is my piece I did for Pandora’s Box exhibition at @lightgreyartlab ! The exhibition is a large art swap including over 60 artists. Each artist receives an edition of each piece in the show. They have the exhibition up now so if you are in town you should definitely check it out or check it out online.
