Ever since watching Produce 101, I’ve also (quite naturally) became a fan of WANNA ONE. I say WANNA ONE but tbh I’m really only a huge fan of Lai Guanlin, the rapper and maknae of the group. I’m really only okay with the songs in the album, but they’re all addictive in their own way (especially when you’ve watched many performances of them multiple times XD). If I really have to pick one, I’ll say “Burn It Up” is most addictive for me! But to sing at the karaoke or something, “Energetic” and “Wanna Be (My Baby)” is a lot easier.
The album also comes with many goodies! Both versions differ a bit, but they both come with a photobook, flipbook, lyrics booklet, golden ticket, group & individual random photocard, group & individual random sleeve, group & individual random cover and poster. As someone who buys A LOT of Japanese albums and DVDs…I am not used to paying what I consider a cheap sum for this amount of content. It just doesn’t happen within the Jpop industry XD
ALSO, IT’S HARD TO COLLECT A FULL SET OF YOUR FAVOURITE MEMBER’S STUFF. I managed to get all of Guanlin’s (photographs above were before I got my sky ver. cover & sleeve), but it was really after a lot of determination xD
I’ve actually ordered the both MWAVE signed albums, Taiwan version and also bought both the Japanese editions as well when I hit Tokyo recently. To date, I have bought 7 albums (and have no plans to buy more since their repackage album is coming up in…just 2 weeks later…)
WANNA ONE is practically everywhere, be it on TV or group concerts or endorsements, and are currently on their fanmeeting tour around Asia. They’ll also be dropping a 2nd mini-album come early November, so please do look forward to their activities!
