Ever since watching Produce 101, I’ve also (quite naturally) became a fan of WANNA ONE. I say WANNA ONE but tbh I’m really only a huge fan of Lai Guanlin, the rapper and maknae of the group. I’m really only okay with the songs in the album, but they’re all addictive in their own way (especially when you’ve watched many performances of them multiple times XD). If I really have to pick one, I’ll say “Burn It Up” is most addictive for me! But to sing at the karaoke or something, “Energetic” and “Wanna Be (My Baby)” is a lot easier.
The album also comes with many goodies! Both versions differ a bit, but they both come with a photobook, flipbook, lyrics booklet, golden ticket, group & individual random photocard, group & individual random sleeve, group & individual random cover and poster. As someone who buys A LOT of Japanese albums and DVDs…I am not used to paying what I consider a cheap sum for this amount of content. It just doesn’t happen within the Jpop industry XD
ALSO, IT’S HARD TO COLLECT A FULL SET OF YOUR FAVOURITE MEMBER’S STUFF. I managed to get all of Guanlin’s (photographs above were before I got my sky ver. cover & sleeve), but it was really after a lot of determination xD
I’ve actually ordered the both MWAVE signed albums, Taiwan version and also bought both the Japanese editions as well when I hit Tokyo recently. To date, I have bought 7 albums (and have no plans to buy more since their repackage album is coming up in…just 2 weeks later…)
WANNA ONE is practically everywhere, be it on TV or group concerts or endorsements, and are currently on their fanmeeting tour around Asia. They’ll also be dropping a 2nd mini-album come early November, so please do look forward to their activities!

While that’s out of the way, I wanted to address something more serious. I personally feel a bit discouraged because many of the comments say that they’re watching the MV only from Jimin’s tweet (Which is great, we love more viewers and support).
However, I think it just gets problematic when they straight up ask ‘who’s this guy’ or ‘isn’t he jimin’s friend?’ I get that some Sungwoon stans can be mad towards ARMY for coming just because of Jimin, but for ARMY to think that us Sungwoon fans should be grateful that they’re giving views to his MV is when the line is drawn.
Granted, yes, we should be grateful for those views. But how many of them actually take the time to look into Ha Sungwoon? Probably close to none. They just continue to think that we’re the petty ones and that we’re thick in our heads for only stanning who we want to stan.
This man is more than just Jimin or Taemin’s friend, he’s more than just a good singer. He went through hell called Produce 101 for his name to be spread and even debuted as a Wanna One member and this is still how he gets treated?
Please stan this man, not as ‘Jimin’s friend’, but as Ha Sungwoon. He really deserves the attention as an individual artist who’s gone through so much just to get his name out like his other group members.

Wanna One from “Produce 101 Season 2” has made their much-anticipated debut!
On August 7 at 6 p.m. KST, the group dropped their first mini album “1X1=1 (TO BE ONE)” with the music video for the title track.
“Energetic” is the group’s first title track which was voted for by the fans against “Burn It Up.” The lyrics were written by PENTAGON’s Hui and Wooseok, and the song was composed by Flow Blow and Hui.

Wanna One and HOTSHOT member Ha Sung Woon has nothing but love for his fellow HOTSHOT members.
Star Crew Entertainment (formerly Ador&Able), the agency of HOTSHOT, revealed that Ha Sung Woon had sent a message of support to his fellow HOTSHOT members following the group’s comeback on July 15.
As Ha Sung Woon has been chosen to be a member of Wanna One, he was not able to join the other members of HOTSHOT for their recent comeback track “Jelly.”
The idol stated, “I felt like my heart was going to burst watching HOTSHOT’s performance on ‘Music Core.’ Whenever I have a moment, I look up HOTSHOT on portal sites and monitor news about them. I also call up the other members to nag at them.” He also added, “I feel like the height of the members in the group has become unbalanced now that I’m not there. It feels empty without the members by my side because we’ve always stuck together, and I miss them. I’m confident they’ll keep HOTSHOT thriving while I’m gone.”
An agency representative stated, “Ha Sung Woon feels apologetic to his fellow members and fans for not being able to perform as a member of HOTSHOT because of his Wanna One activities. However, he wants everyone to know that he’ll be with HOTSHOT in spirit, and he hopes fans will give all their love and support to both HOTSHOT and Wanna One.”
