A neighborhood in New Orleans did this. Shut down traffic for a day to throw the thing a block party.
The city said, “haha guys ok, bet you won’t do it again.”
The next year they had an even bigger birthday party for the pot hole. Disrupted even more traffic. Local bakery donated cake.
The city caved and fixed the road.
If you cannot get things fixed by following the rules, be as bombastic as you need to be.
I read about a guy who asked the city for YEARS to fix a large and ever growing pothole on his street to no avail. So he bought a tree and planted it in the hole. Next thing ya know the city came and fixed the pothole
Sometimes I want to end this relationship because it just seems hard and I worry my self-esteem is too low for it and I get fed up a lot. I can’t tell if the fact that I haven’t means that I am afraid or being alone or if it means that the relationship is worth the effort…
PS I’m pretty proud of myself for posting on here instead of being passive aggressive. That’s definitely something I’m getting better about. I still have those passive aggressive urges, but I’m getting better about either ignoring them or doing private things like post on tumblr or listen to particular music. I guess that would make them just passive?
