Taking inspiration from covers like James Arthur - Impossible andSam Smith - How Will I Know. Something curious happens when male artists cover female tracks. Same words, an entire new set of emotions.
The mood here was more so inspired by Beyoncé and André 3000’s brilliant rendition. And while I have your attention, it’s definitely worth checking out the The Bryan Ferry Orchestra‘s jazz version!

I suppose this is a second of three installments (for the moment), in my impromptu Passive Me, Aggressive You series. On one hand the title is inspired by Lupe Fiasco’s track of the same name. This is the fourth piece off the album LASERS that I’ve created. On the other, the concept ties closer to the track Wonder by the Adventure Club. After all, locking up conversations in my mind is very much my M.O.
In short, this is less from an activist, and more from the memoirs of a retired-hopeless-romantic point of view.
